Roll Pressure Controls Hydraulics EHA updates hydraulics on roll pressure controls EHA replaced the directional control and pressure reducing valves in this system. Additionally, we added the stand, accumulator, pressure transducer, quick disconnect, and plumbing. The equipment processes soybeans by crushing the product between two rollers. The hydraulic cylinders maintains the correct pressure on the adjustable roll. There is a cylinder at each end of the adjustable roll. Occasionally foreign material like a rock or tool will fall in between the rollers and the pressure reducing valve can’t react quick enough which would break the roll mounts. The accumulator was added to take that quick burst of oil, reducing the risk of breakage. There were 9 machines in line, for a total of 18 systems. While the machines were down for replumbing, we also rebuilt all 18 cylinders.
