Accounting Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our teamin Cedar Rapids, IA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operation and accurate financial records. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial support.
• Perform general administrative and accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles accepted).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Epicor Prophet 21, QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
